Human Transglutaminase 4, Prostate ELISA Kit

Brought to you by Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Transglutaminase 4, Prostate (TGM4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for TGM4, with detection via a Biotinylated Anti-TGM4 Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate solution, producing a coloured product that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The assay range is 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.33 ng/ml and a total assay time of approximately 4h 30m.

The kit comprises a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with components stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed; the kit should not be used past its stated expiration date. Reported recovery values are: serum (n=5), range 80–102%, average 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5), range 81–100%, average 90%; heparin plasma (n=5), range 80–89%, average 84%. Dilution linearity has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across these sample types.
