Human Transglutaminase 2, Tissue ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Transglutaminase 2 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microtiter plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where Transglutaminase 2 binds the immobilized capture antibody. Following incubation and washing, a biotinylated anti-Transglutaminase 2 antibody and then HRP-Avidin conjugate are added. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the target concentration calculated from the standard curve. The measuring range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Recovery in serum (n=5) was 80%–102% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%–100% (average 90%), and in heparin plasma (n=5) 80%–89% (average 84%). Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers, with items stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
