Human Transglutaminase 1, Keratinocyte ELISA Kit

This sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Transglutaminase 1, Keratinocyte (TGM1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. It has a sensitivity of 0.121 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with an assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit is provided on a pre-coated microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format, intended for use with a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for TGM1. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where TGM1 is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-TGM1 Antibody binds the captured TGM1, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate solution, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm, and TGM1 concentration is calculated against the standard curve. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
