Human Transgelin 2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human TAGLN2 (Transgelin 2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, urine or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate platform (12 x 8 well strips) and is intended for research use only.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of 0.059 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. It is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and urine samples, with detection performed colorimetrically by reading the optical density at 450nm in a microplate reader. Reported recovery is 80–102% (average 91%, n=5) for serum, 81–101% (average 91%, n=5) for EDTA plasma, and 80–89% (average 84%, n=5) for heparin plasma. Linearity ranges for dilutions 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 are: serum 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, 92–97%; EDTA plasma 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, 79–108%; heparin plasma 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, 89–91%.

Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers. Reagent components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
