Human Transforming Growth Factor Beta Receptor II ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this in vitro sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Transforming Growth Factor Beta Receptor II in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate and uses a biotinylated anti-TGF beta Receptor II detection antibody with HRP-Avidin and TMB substrate, producing a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4h 30m, with reagents stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Reported performance figures from the manufacturer include a sensitivity of <0.126 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing gave mean recoveries of 91% for serum (n=5, range 80–102%), 91% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–101%) and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%). Dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 was reported for serum (74–107%), EDTA plasma (79–108%) and heparin plasma (82–105%).
