Human Transforming Growth Factor Beta Induced Protein ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Transforming Growth Factor Beta Induced (TGFBI) protein in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a pre-coated microplate, a Biotinylated Anti-TGFBI detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Bound analyte is visualised with a TMB substrate solution read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with the intensity of the yellow product proportional to TGFBI concentration in the sample.

Reported sensitivity is <0.245 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.625–40 ng/ml. Manufacturer validation data show average recovery values of 91% for serum (range 83–99%), 89% for EDTA plasma (range 80–99%) and 90% for heparin plasma (range 82–99%), each determined at n=5. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.
