Human Transforming Growth Factor Beta 3 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Transforming Growth Factor Beta 3 (TGF beta 3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate together with a biotinylated anti-TGF beta 3 antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a colourmetric signal read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is <34 pg/ml with a standard curve range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml, and total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Mean recoveries were 91% from serum (n=5, range 83%–99%), 89% from EDTA plasma (n=5, range 80%–99%) and 90% from heparin plasma (n=5, range 82%–99%). Dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 was demonstrated across all three sample matrices.

Supplied components include lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, plate sealers and the pre-coated microplate. Storage instructions specify +4°C for some reagents and −20°C for others, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
