Human Transforming Growth Factor Beta 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative measurement of human Transforming Growth Factor Beta 2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for the target, and a biotinylated detection antibody plus HRP-avidin conjugate are used to generate a colorimetric signal that is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

The assay has a working range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <8.64 pg/ml, with a total run time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery values supplied by the manufacturer span 83–99% (average 91%) for serum, 80–99% (average 89%) for EDTA plasma and 82–99% (average 90%) for heparin plasma, each tested at n=5. Dilution linearity data are reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same three sample matrices, with reactivity confirmed for human samples.
