The assay applies a quantitative sandwich immunoassay technique using a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a monoclonal antibody specific to TGF-ß1, followed by detection with a biotin-conjugated polyclonal antibody, HRP-conjugated Avidin, and a TMB substrate solution, with absorbance measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm.
