Human Transcription Termination Factor, RNA polymerase I ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Transcription Termination Factor, RNA polymerase I (TTF1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a TTF1-specific capture antibody immobilised on the plate. Detection is performed colorimetrically by measuring absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where TTF1 is bound by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-TTF1 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate are added sequentially. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of stop solution; the intensity of the yellow colour is proportional to the amount of TTF1 captured. Sensitivity is 0.055 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is for research use only.
