Human Transcription Factor IIA, Polypeptide 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Transcription Factor IIA, Polypeptide 1 (GTF2A1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-GTF2A1 detection antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour reaction is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Performance characteristics quoted in the product literature include an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.117 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported spike-and-recovery ranges across sample matrices (n=5) are 80%-102% for serum (average 91%), 81%-101% for EDTA plasma (average 91%) and 80%-89% for heparin plasma (average 84%). Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions gave ranges of 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma.

Supplied components include lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated on the labels. The kit should not be used past its expiration date.
