Human Transcription Factor Binding To IGHM Enhancer 3 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative determination of human Transcription Factor Binding To IGHM Enhancer 3 (TFE3) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader platform. It is supplied as a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

The assay uses an antibody specific for TFE3 pre-coated onto the plate. Standards and samples are added, followed by incubation with biotinylated anti-TFE3 antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualize the reaction; the resulting yellow product is proportional to TFE3 concentration and is measured by absorbance at 450 nm. Reported sensitivity is 0.118 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml. Average recovery across sample types was 91% for serum (n=5, range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%). Linearity was demonstrated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16.
