Human Transaldolase ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Transaldolase 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Transaldolase 1; standards and samples are added and captured Transaldolase 1 is then detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Transaldolase 1 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is visualised with a TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and the concentration is calculated by reading the O.D. at 450 nm against a standard curve.

The reported sensitivity is <0.063 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. Detection is colourimetric on a microplate reader, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

Sample recovery (n=5) was 80-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81-101% (average 91%) for EDTA plasma, and 80-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Linear dilution testing across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions gave ranges of 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% respectively for serum, 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma, and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is sold for laboratory research use only.
