Human Toll Like Receptor Adaptor Molecule 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human TRIF (Toll Like Receptor Adaptor Molecule 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for TRIF. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and bound by the immobilized antibody, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-TRIF Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm using a microplate reader, with TRIF concentration calculated against a standard curve.

Reactive with human samples, the kit reports a sensitivity of 0.124 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Recovery in serum (n=5) was 80%–102% with an average of 91%, in EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%–101% with an average of 91%, and in heparin plasma (n=5) 80%–89% with an average of 84%. The platform is a pre-coated microplate and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed.
