Human Toll Like Receptor 9 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Toll Like Receptor 9 (TLR9) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with anti-TLR9 capture antibody and follows a biotinylated detection antibody / HRP-avidin chromogenic workflow, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 h 30 min.

Reported performance includes a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.059 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery values (n=5) are given for Serum (average 91%, range 80%–102%), EDTA Plasma (average 90%, range 81%–100%) and Heparin Plasma (average 84%, range 80%–89%). Linearity across the same sample types has been demonstrated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. The kit has been cited in a study of TLR7 and TLR9 plasma expression in patients with newly diagnosed Class III and Class IV lupus nephritis.
