Human Toll Like Receptor 8 ELISA Kit

A quantitative sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com intended for the in vitro measurement of Toll Like Receptor 8 in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The format uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for TLR8, with a biotinylated anti-TLR8 detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, developed with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm.

The assay has a working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.108 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Colour development is read on a colorimetric microplate reader, and the intensity of the yellow product is proportional to TLR8 concentration as calculated against the standard curve.

Validated recovery in serum averages 91% (range 80–102%), in EDTA plasma 90% (81–100%), and in heparin plasma 84% (80–89%).
