Human Toll Like Receptor 5 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Toll Like Receptor 5 (TLR5) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, including serum and plasma.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate with a TLR5-specific capture antibody. Standards and samples are added to the wells; bound TLR5 is detected with a biotinylated anti-TLR5 antibody, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour intensity is read at 450 nm and the TLR5 concentration is calculated from a standard curve. The product range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of <0.135 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

Recovery has been validated in serum (range 80%-102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81%-100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80%-89%, average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity has been characterised at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each matrix. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit is intended for use with a colorimetric microplate reader.
