Human Toll Like Receptor 3 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Toll Like Receptor 3 (TLR3). It uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. The assay employs a biotinylated anti-TLR3 detection antibody and TMB substrate, producing a blue product that changes to yellow after the addition of acidic stop solution; colour intensity is proportional to TLR3 concentration in the sample.

Quantitative performance: the assay range is 78.1–5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <28 pg/ml, calculated from a standard curve generated from the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit is suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates, as well as other biological fluids.

Sample compatibility data from manufacturer validation: serum recovery range 80–102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%, n=5), heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%, n=5). Performance was further characterised across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) for each sample matrix.
