Human TNFRSF11A ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human RANK in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for RANK with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogues or variants, with a working range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL and a sensitivity below 37.5 pg/mL.

Run as a 4-hour quantitative protocol, the kit uses a pre-coated microplate with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm. A capture antibody specific for RANK is immobilised on the plate; standards or samples are added, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody to form an antibody–antigen–antibody sandwich complex. After washing, an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate are added, producing a measurable colour change whose intensity is directly proportional to the amount of RANK captured. Concentration is calculated by comparing absorbance against the standard curve.

Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with the supplied sample dilution buffer before testing. The kit is shipped at +4°C and components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as directed in the protocol manual; freeze/thaw cycles and use beyond the expiration date should be avoided.
