Human TMSß10 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) provides in vitro quantitative determination of human Thymosin beta 10 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The 2 hour (120 minute) workflow uses a pre-coated microplate format in which Thymosin beta 10 present in samples or standards competes with immobilised antigen for binding sites on a Biotinylated Anti-Thymosin beta 10 Antibody.

After incubation and washing, an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate is added, followed by TMB substrate, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is measured at 450 nm, with the intensity of the yellow colour inversely proportional to the amount of Thymosin beta 10 present in each sample or standard.

The assay covers a product range of 31.25-2000 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 18.75 ng/mL, and is reported to be specific for Thymosin beta 10 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. The kit is shipped at +4°C and components should be stored at +4°C, must not be used past the expiration date, and should be protected from repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
