Human Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor (TFPI). The kit is suitable for use with plasma, urine, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a biotinylated anti-TFPI antibody with HRP-avidin conjugate, visualised using TMB substrate. Absorbance is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. The reported product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.071 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Reported recovery in serum (n=5) is 80–102 % (average 91 %), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 81–100 % (average 90 %), and in heparin plasma (n=5) 80–89 % (average 84 %).
