Human Tissue Factor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Tissue Factor in plasma samples. The method employs a pre-coated microplate, with captured Tissue Factor detected using a biotinylated anti-Tissue Factor antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate yields a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to Tissue Factor concentration, measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader and calculated against a standard curve.

With an assay range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <12.8 pg/ml, the procedure runs for 4 hours and 30 minutes. Recovery in EDTA plasma (n=5) ranges from 81% to 99% with an average of 90%, while heparin plasma (n=5) ranges from 80% to 89% with an average of 84%. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
