Human Tight Junction Protein 2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Tight Junction Protein 2 (TJP2/ZO2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. It is a colourmetric, quantitative sandwich immunoassay run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips) read at 450 nm. The stated product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of 0.053 ng/ml, and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Supplied components are a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 µl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml), and 5 adhesive plate sealers. Kit components are stored at +4 °C (Wash Buffer 30X, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution) or −20 °C (Pre-Coated 96 Well Microplate, Lyophilized Standard, Detection Solutions A and B, Sample Dilution Buffer). In the manufacturer's recovery assessment (n = 5), values were 80–102 % for serum (average 91 %), 81–100 % for EDTA plasma (average 90 %), and 80–89 % for heparin plasma (average 84 %). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 is reported for each matrix.
