Human Thymosin Beta 10 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (cELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Thymosin beta 10 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with Thymosin beta 10 antigen, with colour developed using TMB substrate and stopped with acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader. During the assay, Thymosin beta 10 in standards or samples competes with the immobilised antigen for binding to a biotinylated anti-Thymosin beta 10 antibody, and an HRP-Avidin conjugate is used for detection.

The reported assay range is 7.81-500 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <3.52 ng/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery performance is: serum 83-100% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma 90-98% (average 94%, n=5), and heparin plasma 89-102% (average 95%, n=5), with linearity data provided across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions.
