Human Thymidine Kinase 1, Soluble ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Thymidine Kinase 1/TK1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a biotinylated anti-TK1 detection antibody, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate visualisation, with the reaction read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit provides a working standard range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a stated sensitivity of <6.0 pg/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values average 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%), based on n=5 per matrix.
