Human Thrombomodulin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Thrombomodulin in plasma. The procedure uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where Thrombomodulin is captured by the immobilised antibody, followed by detection with a biotinylated anti-Thrombomodulin antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has a measuring range of 93.8-6000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <41.25 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values (n=5) are 80%-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%-99% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80%-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 was reported at 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, and 89-91% for heparin plasma.
