Human Threonyl tRNA Synthetase ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Threonyl tRNA Synthetase (ThrRS) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids, with additional validated performance reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where ThrRS is captured by an immobilised antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-ThrRS Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction is stopped with acidic stop solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader; ThrRS concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

The reported assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.115 ng/ml. Average recovery values stated in the product specification are 91% for serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its stated expiration date.
