Human Thimet Oligopeptidase 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Thimet Oligopeptidase in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit is built around a 96-well microplate pre-coated with antibody specific for the target, with bound analyte detected by a biotinylated anti-Thimet Oligopeptidase antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the reaction, producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm.

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a sensitivity of 0.63 ng/ml and a product range of 1.56–100 ng/ml. It is run on a colorimetric microplate reader using a pre-coated microplate platform of 12 x 8 well strips, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

Reported recovery in serum (n=5) is 80%–102% with an average of 91%, in EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%–100% averaging 90%, and in heparin plasma (n=5) 80%–89% averaging 84%. Linearity has been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
