Human TFCP2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human alpha Globin Transcription Factor CP2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The kit is specific for alpha Globin Transcription Factor CP2 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants, and is supplied for research use only.

The 4-hour colorimetric assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) read at 450 nm. Standards and samples bind to the immobilized capture antibody; a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate then form the sandwich complex. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with absorbance directly proportional to the concentration of target captured in each well.

Validated sample types include serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with reported recovery ranges of 85%-99%, 90%-102%, and 89%-103% respectively. Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing. All kit components are shipped at +4°C; some are stored at +4°C and others at -20°C as instructed in the Protocol Manual, and freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
