Human Tenascin X ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Tenascin X (TN-X) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate, a biotinylated anti-TN-X detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal developed by TMB substrate and read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.53 ng/ml and an assay range of 1.56–100 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiked recovery in serum (n=5) was 80–102% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 81–100% (average 90%) and in heparin plasma (n=5) 80–89% (average 84%). Linearity was demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.

Required materials not supplied include a microplate reader capable of measuring absorbance at 450 nm ± 10 nm, multi- and single-channel pipettes with sterile tips, a 37°C incubator and deionized or distilled water.
