Human Telomeric Repeat Binding Factor 2 Interacting Protein ELISA Kit

Manufactured under the Antibodies.com brand, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human RAP1/TERF2IP, also known as Telomeric Repeat Binding Factor 2 Interacting Protein, in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and uses a pre-coated microplate platform with colourimetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The procedure follows the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, in which standards and test samples are captured by an immobilised antibody, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-RAP1/TERF2IP Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate is then added to visualise the reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the resulting absorbance is proportional to the amount of RAP1/TERF2IP captured in each well.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the kit provides a sensitivity of <0.66 ng/ml, an assay range of 1.56-100 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and must not be used past the expiration date.
