Human TDO ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human TDO2/TDO in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. Standards and samples bind to a pre-coated microplate, then a biotinylated detection antibody is added to form an antibody–antigen–antibody sandwich. HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate produce a blue colour that turns yellow upon stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm and concentration calculated against the standard curve.

Specificity is reported for TDO2/TDO with no cross-reactivity to other analogs or variants. Recovery in neat serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=10 per matrix) spans 87–104% with averages of 96%–99%, and dilution linearity is confirmed at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions across the same matrices.

Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing. The kit ships at +4°C; components are stored at +4°C according to the protocol manual and should not be used past the expiration date or subjected to freeze/thaw cycles.
