Human Taxilin Alpha ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human alpha Taxilin, this sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with signal developed using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm.

The assay covers a standard range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <5.6 pg/ml, and a typical run time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Spiked-sample recovery (n=5) ranged from 80–102% in serum (average 91%), 81–100% in EDTA plasma (average 90%) and 80–89% in heparin plasma (average 84%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 gave ranges of 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.
