The procedure uses a pre-coated microtiter plate, a biotin-conjugated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP with TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is terminated with sulphuric acid solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm. The reported detection range is 0.312 - 20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.119 ng/ml. The capture antibody is raised in rabbit (IgG) and the immunogen is recombinant human TNFSF13B.
