Human Tankyrase 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is configured for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Tankyrase 2/TNKS2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) to which an antibody specific for Tankyrase 2/TNKS2 is immobilised. Standards and samples are added, captured analyte is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Tankyrase 2/TNKS2 Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate, and the reaction is visualised with TMB substrate. Colour development is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of Tankyrase 2/TNKS2 is calculated from the standard curve.

Quantitative measurement spans a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.040 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported spike-and-recovery averages (n=5) were 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
