Human Talin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Talin 1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate bearing an antibody specific for Talin 1. Standards and samples are added so that the target protein is captured by the immobilised antibody; following washing, a biotinylated anti-Talin 1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate are applied. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The Talin 1 concentration is then calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.052 ng/ml, and the complete protocol takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
