Human Tafazzin ELISA Kit

From the Antibodies.com Assays and Kits range, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Tafazzin/TAZ in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-Tafazzin/TAZ detection antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colourmetric microplate reader.

Stated performance characteristics include a product range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery in serum (n=5) ranged from 80% to 102% with an average of 91%; in EDTA plasma (n=5) from 81% to 100% with an average of 90%; and in heparin plasma (n=5) from 80% to 89% with an average of 84%.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date. The kit has been cited in at least one publication.
