Human Tachykinin Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the quantitative in vitro determination of human Tachykinin Receptor 1 (NK-1R) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate with an antibody specific for NK-1R, employing a biotinylated detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Following incubation and washing, TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Detection is colourimetric with an assay time of 4h 30m. The stated product range is 0.312-20 ng/ml and sensitivity is <0.115 ng/ml. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery performance was reported for serum (n=5, range 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity ranges for 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples are also reported.
