Human Synuclein Gamma ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human gamma Synuclein (SNCG) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-gamma Synuclein/SNCG detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate. Signal is read as absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the concentration of gamma Synuclein/SNCG calculated from a standard curve.

The standard curve range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a stated sensitivity of less than 0.127 ng/ml. The complete assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, and the kit is for use with human samples. Spike-and-recovery validation gave an average recovery of 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Linearity has also been assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.
