Human Synuclein Alpha ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human alpha Synuclein in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The kit has been validated for reactivity with human samples and uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with antibody specific for alpha Synuclein.

The working assay range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 5.9 pg/ml. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a microplate reader after incubation with TMB substrate. The assay uses a biotinylated anti-alpha Synuclein detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate to form the sandwich complex. The platform is a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

In-house validation reports recovery of alpha Synuclein in serum (range 80-102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80-89%, average 84%, n=5). Kit components are to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed; the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
