Human Syndecan 4 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich-format ELISA provides quantitative measurement of human Syndecan 4 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Syndecan 4, configured as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, and captured Syndecan 4 is detected with a biotinylated anti-Syndecan 4 antibody followed by HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The full assay is completed in 4h 30m.

The standard curve range is 1.56–100 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of 0.62 ng/ml. Reported recovery averages 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Linearity upon serial dilution is supported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5). The kit is specific for human Syndecan 4 with reactivity in human samples, and components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
