Human Synaptotagmin Like Protein 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SYTL2/SLP2 (Synaptotagmin Like Protein 2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, serum, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma, and other biological fluids.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for SYTL2/SLP2 immobilised on the wells. Standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-SYTL2/SLP2 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Visualisation uses TMB substrate, producing a yellow product after addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Stated sensitivity is <0.113 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Reported spike-and-recovery values (n=5) are: Serum 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA Plasma 81–100% (average 90%), Heparin Plasma 80–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity is provided across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.
