Human Synaptosomal Associated Protein 25kDa ELISA Kit

This sandwich-format ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SNAP25 (Synaptosomal Associated Protein 25kDa) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-SNAP25 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader. The assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of 0.059 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4 h 30 min.

Spike-and-recovery performance across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 each) is documented, with average recoveries of 91%, 94%, and 94% respectively and individual ranges of 83–100%, 90–98%, and 90–99%. Dilution linearity is reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across the same sample types, with serum recoveries of 90–99%, 82–108%, 82–96%, and 92–103%; EDTA plasma recoveries of 84–105%, 88–94%, 89–107%, and 72–106%; and heparin plasma recoveries of 89–92%, 88–108%, 84–102%, and 90–98%.

Reactivity is limited to human samples and the assay is suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated on individual vials.
