Human Synaptopodin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of human Synaptopodin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm in a standard microplate reader.

The standard curve covers an assay range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml, with a sensitivity of <5.4 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery performance (n=5) is reported as: serum 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%). Linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 sample dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.

Detection uses a biotinylated anti-Synaptopodin antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to the captured Synaptopodin. The kit is supplied for use with cell lysate and tissue homogenate samples.
