Human Surfactant Associated Protein B ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of SFTPB (Prosurfactant Protein B) in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, lung lavage fluid, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a biotinylated anti-Prosurfactant Protein B detection antibody with an HRP-Avidin conjugate; signal is developed using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Sensitivity is <0.54 ng/ml, the standard curve spans 1.56–100 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m.

Components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer concentrate, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Storage is at +4°C or -20°C as instructed; components should not be used past the expiration date. Reported spike-and-recovery ranges (n=5) are 80%–102% for serum, 81%–100% for EDTA plasma and 80%–89% for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.
