Human Suppressors Of Cytokine Signaling 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the quantitative determination of human SOCS3 (Suppressors of Cytokine Signaling 3). The assay is performed on a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with a SOCS3-specific capture antibody and is intended for use with tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. Bound analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-SOCS3 antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate; the resulting conversion of TMB substrate is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance specifications include a standard curve range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <6.4 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5) showed average recoveries of 91%, 90% and 84%, respectively. Dilution linearity was tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions, giving recovery ranges of 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma.
