Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human ST14 (Suppression of Tumorigenicity 14) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate platform and a biotinylated anti-ST14 antibody followed by HRP-avidin conjugate detection, with TMB substrate development read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of less than 0.058 ng/ml and a standard range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Reported recovery values across sample matrices were: serum (range 83%–100%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 90%–103%, average 96%, n=5), and heparin plasma (range 89%–102%, average 95%, n=5). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions spanned 83–110%, 79–100%, 90–98%, 82–108% for serum (n=5); 90–98%, 90–105%, 73–109%, 87–91% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 88–103%, 77–105%, 95–98%, 87–110% for heparin plasma (n=5).

Reagents supplied include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
