Human Sulfatase 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Sulfatase 2 (SULF2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit is reactive with human samples and uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 × 8 well strips, with absorbance read colorimetrically at 450 nm.

Reported performance specifications include an assay range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.56 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. The procedure uses a biotinylated anti-SULF2 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, and is intended for serum, plasma and tissue homogenates.

Spike-and-recovery testing gave average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Linearity upon dilution at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components include a lyophilised standard, biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with components stored at –20°C or +4°C as instructed.
