Human Sucrase Isomaltase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA (sELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Sucrase Isomaltase (SI) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using an antibody specific for SI that has been pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where SI present is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-SI Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with concentration calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The assay has a stated range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.107 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reactivity is specific to human samples. The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
