Human Stress Induced Phosphoprotein 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human STIP1/STI1 (Stress Induced Phosphoprotein 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The immunoassay uses a biotinylated anti-STIP1/STI1 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colourmetric microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <6.5 pg/ml and a quantitative range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Average recovery values reported are 91% in serum (range 80%–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity has been characterised at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed; the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
